Miguel Cabrera (back) remains out of Tigers' lineup on Wednesday
Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera (back) is out of the starting lineup again on Wednesday against the Kansas City Royals.
The Tigers have been eliminated from playoff contention and Cabrera is dealing with two herniated discs in his back, so it's possible he's done for the year. Efren Navarro is playing first base and batting second for Detroit on Wednesday versus Royals right-hander Jason Hammel.
In 130 games this season, Cabrera has averaged 8.5 FanDuel points per contest while owning a .249/.329/.399 slash and .728 OPS with 16 home runs, 60 RBI, and 50 runs scored across 529 plate appearances.
