Willson Contreras (knee) is not in the Cubs' lineup on Wednesday
Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras (knee) will not start on Wednesday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Contreras took a couple foul tips off his right knee on Tuesday, so he's getting a day off to recover. Rene Rivera is behind the plate and batting eighth.
For the remainder of the season, numberFire projects Contreras to hit .286 with 1 home run, 2 runs, and 2 RBIs over his remaining 16 plate appearances.
