What It Means:
Pinder has been experiencing concussion symptoms recently and the Athletics don't want to take any risks with the 25-year-old, as he has dealt with brain injuries in the past.
In 87 games this season, Pinder slashed .238/.292/.457 with 15 home runs and 42 RBI across 309 plate appearances.
