Daniel Murphy (sore) out of Nationals' lineup again on Tuesday
Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy is out of the lineup again on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Nationals manager Dusty Baker said Murphy didn't play on Monday due to "general soreness" and it sounds like he will be given another day off with the club turning its focus to the postseason. Howie Kendrick will start at second base on Tuesday and bat fifth versus Phillies right-hander Jake Thompson.
Murphy is averaging 11.6 FanDuel points per game in 2017 (139 games) with a .315/.376/.542 slash and .917 OPS across 562 plate appearances.
