Eduardo Nunez (knee) out for Red Sox against Toronto
Boston Red Sox infielder/outfielder Eduardo Nunez is (knee) not in Tuesday's lineup against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Nunez aggravated his right knee injury on Monday and will likely be held out of the remainder of the Blue Jays series. The Red Sox are erring on the side of caution and it's not believed to be a serious problem. Hanley Ramirez is starting at designated hitter while Sam Travis plays first base and Rafael Devers draws another start at the hot corner for Boston on Tuesday.
In 114 games this season, Nunez is slashing .313/.341/.460 with 12 home runs, 58 RBI, 60 runs scored, and 24 steals across 491 plate appearances.
