Astros' Jose Altuve has left forearm contusion, X-rays negative
Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve underwent X-rays on his injured left forearm, but those X-rays came back negative, according to the Houston Chronicle's Jake Kaplan.
Altuve exited Monday's game early after being hit by a pitch. He just has a bruise, though, so consider him day-to-day. We should expect him back in the next couple days for Houston.
Our models project Altuve for 1 home run, 2 RBI and a .313 average over 17 plate appearances the rest of the year.
