Arizona's David Peralta out on Monday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder David Peralta is not starting on Monday against the San Francisco Giants.
What It Means:
Gregor Blanco will start in left field and lead off the order for the Diamondbacks as they take on right-hander Johnny Cueto and the Giants. It's just an off night for Peralta after Arizona clinched the top National League Wild Card spot on Sunday.
In 136 games this season, Peralta owns a .297/.353/.447 slash with 14 home runs, 54 RBI, 81 runs scored, and 8 steals across 561 plate appearances.
