New York Yankees second baseman Starlin Castro is not starting on Monday against the Kansas City Royals.
Ronald Torreyes will make the start at second base in Monday's makeup game against right-hander Jakob Junis and the Royals. Castro is slashing .297/.334/.443 with 14 home runs and 58 RBI in 106 games this season.
numberFire's models project Castro to turn in a .286 batting average in 23 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
