Adam Lind absent from Nationals' lineup on Sunday afternoon
Washington Nationals first baseman/outfielder Adam Lind is not starting on Sunday against the New York Mets.
Ryan Zimmerman is sitting out this weekend due to general soreness, so Howie Kendrick will take over at first base after Lind handled duties there on Saturday for Washington.
Lind is slashing .310/.369/.527 with a .896 OPS in 112 games this season while recording 14 home runs and 57 RBI across 282 plate appearances (110 games).
