San Diego Padres third baseman Cory Spangenberg is back in the lineup Friday against the Colorado Rockies.
Spangenberg has sat out the last two games for the Friars, but he will return to the lineup in left field on Friday night. He's batting fifth against right-hander Jon Gray.
