Anthony Rendon absent from Nationals' lineup against Mets
Washington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon is not in the lineup Friday against the New York Mets.
Rendon is getting the night off along with several other high-profile Nats starters. It will be Adrian Sanchez starting at the hot corner and hitting seventh against right-hander Rob Gsellman.
Our models project Rendon for a .313 batting average, with 1 home run, 5 RBI, and 6 runs scored over 37 plate appearances remaining this season.
