Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier is starting on Friday against the Baltimore Orioles.
Mallex Smith was in center and leading off on Thursday, but he will take a seat tonight. Kiermaier is back in center an the leadoff spot against right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez.
