Kennys Vargas out of the Twins' lineup on Thursday
Minnesota Twins first baseman Kennys Varagas is out of the lineup for Thursday's road game against the Detroit Tigers.
What It Means:
Vargas will head to the bench while Joe Mauer covers first base and Robbie Grossman enters the lineup to serve as the designated hitter.
