Jedd Gyorko out of the Cardinals' lineup on Thursday
St. Louis Cardinals infielder Jedd Gyorko is out of the starting lineup for Thursday's road game against the Cincinnati Reds.
What It Means:
Gyorko started at third base on Wednesday, but with Jose Martinez back at first base tonight, Matt Carpenter will move over to the hot corner and Gyorko heads back to the bench.
Gyorko is slashing .268/.333/.463 with a .338 wOBA through 118 games in 2017. numberFire's models project him to bat .250 while adding 2 home runs and 5 RBI in 36 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
