Philadelphia Phillies infielder Maikel Franco is out of the starting lineup against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday.
Franco got the start at third base on Wednesday, but he returns to the bench this afternoon while J.P. Crawford starts at the hot corner.
Franco is slashing only .230/.282/.396 with a .288 wOBA through 146 games in 2017. numberFire's models project him to bat .256 while adding 1 home run and 6 RBI in 42 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
