Chicago Cubs infielder Javier Baez is batting sixth on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Baez will slide from third base to second and move up to sixth in the order on Wednesday night versus left-hander Blake Snell and the Rays. He went 2-for-3 with an RBI double and a steal on Tuesday while working out of the nine-hole for the Cubs.
Snell hasn't given up more than two runs in four of his past five starts, including a pair of shutouts and a one-run outing in his most recent trip to the mound, so the defending champs may be in a tough spot for this one. numberFire's models project Baez to score 9.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,300 on Wednesday, while the Cubs carry an underwhelming implied total at 4.07 runs.
