Carlos Gomez (ankle) still out for Rangers on Tuesday night
Texas Rangers outfielder Carlos Gomez (ankle) remains out of the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners.
Gomez hasn't played since September 9 due to a sprained ankle and there's no timetable for his return. Delino DeShields will make another start in center field and bat leadoff against right-hander Mike Leake and the Mariners on Tuesday.
Gomez owns a .251/.337/.459 slash with 17 home runs, 49 RBI, 51 runs scored, and 13 steals in 407 plate appearances (99 games) this season.
