Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy has been scratched on Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves.
There has been no word on the nature of the injury for Murphy, but we'll pass it along as information becomes available. Wilmer Difo is taking over second base on Tuesday and batting sixth against southpaw Luiz Gohara.
Assuming Murphy is nothing more than day-to-day, our models project him to post a .320 batting average, with 2 home runs, 9 RBI, and 8 runs scored over 55 plate appearances remaining this season.
