Adeiny Hechavarria (hamstring) sitting again Monday for Marlins
Miami Marlins shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria (hamstring) is out of the Marlins' starting lineup again on Monday as they face the New York Mets.
Hechavarria has been out since September 2nd and hasn't made a start since September 1st. Miguel Rojas takes Hechavarria's spot at shortstop and will bat eighth.
The Marlins have nothing left to play for, ranking 25th in our power rankings with a -0.53 nERD. Hechavarria has continued to struggle with the stick this year, though he currently holds career highs in all three slash categories at .281/.315/.374. Hechavarria's defense has become a strength this year as his UZR/150 has jumped to 17.0, the highest of any qualified shortstop in baseball.
