Nationals' Bryce Harper (knee) played in simulated game Tuesday
Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper (knee) participated in a simulated game Tuesday at Atlanta's SunTrust Park.
Harper fielded some grounders in the outfield and did some hitting, so it looks more likely that he'll be able to get a few regular season at bats in before the postseason starts. Although nothing is official, it appears a return to the lineup later in the week or the weekend is a possibility.
Our models project Harper to post a .292 batting average, with 1 home run, 4 RBI, and 4 runs scored over 29 plate appearances remaining this season.
