Cubs' Alex Avila out on Tuesday
Chicago Cubs catcher Alex Avila is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's road game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Avila drew a spot start on Sunday, but he's back on the bench today while Willson Contreras resumes catching duties.
Avila has a strong .366 wOBA through 107 games in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .233 while adding 1 home run and 4 RBI in 36 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
