Boston's Dustin Pedroia (nose) could undergo a CAT scan
Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (nose) could undergo a CAT scan Tuesday.
Pedroia was injured after a rogue foul ball bounced back and hit him in the nose Monday night. His initial diagnosis was a nasal contusion, but he is still experiencing a good amount of pain, so more tests are needed. If Pedroia misses time, look for Brock Holt to play more second base, as well as Eduardo Nunez once he returns from injury.
If Pedroia is able to play on Tuesday, our models project him for 12.2 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,500.
