Buster Posey day-to-day for Giants with minor toe injury
San Francisco Giants catcher/first baseman Buster Posey didn't play on Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks due to a minor toe injury.
Posey suffered the injury on Saturday when a foul tip went off his left toe. It's not a long-term concern, so he could be back in action on Tuesday when the Giants open a two-game home set with the Colorado Rockies.
numberFire's models project Posey to turn in a .294 batting average with 1 home run, 6 RBI, 7 runs scored, and 1 steal in 57 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
