Oakland Athletics outfielder Boog Powell is not in the lineup on Sunday against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Powell will sit out with right-hander Henderson Alvarez on the mound for Philadelphia. It will be Mark Canha in center and hitting sixth on Sunday.
