Carlos Beltran is out of the Astros' lineup on Friday
Houston Astros designated hitter Carlos Beltran will not start Friday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
Beltran has been dealing with a lot of nagging injuries lately, so the Astros are likely just managing his playing time. He will begin the game on the bench for the fourth time in the last seven games. The Astros will shuffle their lineup around and have Jose Altuve DH.
For the rest of the year, our models project Beltran to hit .260 with 2 home runs, 6 runs, and 7 RBIs over 55 plate appearances.
