Ian Happ out of Friday lineup for Chicago
Chicago Cubs second baseman/outfielder Ian Happ is not in Friday afternoon's lineup versus the St. Louis Cardinals.
Happ started at second last night as Ben Zobrist road the bench. Today, the roles are reversed as Happ takes a rest for the series opener against the Cardinals.
Having gone 1-for-12 with 7 strikeouts in his last 3 starts, Happ is projected for 2 home runs, 6 RBI and a .268 average in 46 plate appearances the rest of the way.
