Rangers' Adrian Beltre (hamstring) activated from DL, starting on Thursday
Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre is active and serving as the team's designated hitter for Thursday's home game against the Seattle Mariners.
According to 105.3 The FAN's Jared Sandler, Beltre's injury is one that usually keeps a player out for at least six weeks. In fact, just yesterday, when Beltre was activated from the disabled list, reports were that he may not play the rest of the year. Somehow, someway Beltre is playing after just 13 days off. His presence pushes Nomar Mazara to the Rangers' bench this evening in Texas.
Sporting a .365 on-base percentage against tonight's starter, Felix Hernandez, Beltre -- at $3,500 -- is projected for 11.8 FanDuel points in his return to the lineup.
