Adam Lind absent from Nationals' lineup as they take on Atlanta
Washington Nationals first baseman/outfielder Adam Lind is not starting on Wednesday against the Atlanta Braves.
Lind will head to the bench against left-hander Luiz Gohara and the Braves. He went 1-for-8 with a double and a strikeout in consecutive starts for the Nationals. Howie Kendrick will move to left field while Jayson Werth (shoulder) starts in right in his return to the lineup.
numberFire's models project Lind for a .286 batting average in 36 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
