Lance McCullers scratched from Astros start Wednesday
Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCullers has been scratched from his scheduled start Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels due to arm fatigue.
Astros manager A.J. Hinch says the club isn't worried about the extent of the injury and they are just erring on the side of caution with their talented 23-year-old right-hander. Mike Fiers will take the hill for Houston on Wednesday instead.
McCullers owns a 3.97 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and 26.0 strikeout percentage across 105 2/3 innings this season while going 7-3 in 20 starts.
