Cubs' Jake Arrieta (hamstring) still not throwing off mound
Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta (hamstring) played catch again Tuesday, but has yet to start.
Arrieta played catch again on Tuesday, but he does not have a timetable to start elevated throwing. His last start came on September 4, but it looks like he will have to wait until sometime next week before getting back to game action.
Our models project Arrieta for a 3.46 ERA and 1.15 WHIP, with 18 strikeouts over 20 2/3 innings pitched remaining this season.
