Toronto Blue Jays second baseman/shortstop Darwin Barney is on the bench Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles.
What It Means:
Barney has filled in at third base over the Jays' last five games due to an illness for Josh Donaldson. After serving as the DH on Monday, Donaldson is back at the hot corner on Tuesday, and with Ryan Goins playing second base, Barney will be used in a reserve role as the Jays go against Dylan Bundy.
