Dixon Machado is out Tuesday for Detroit
Detroit Tigers shortstop Dixon Machado is not in the lineup on Tuesday against the Cleveland Indians.
Machado has taken over every day shortstop duties, so it looks to be just a day off for him on Tuesday. Andrew Romine will fill in and bat ninth against right-hander Corey Kluber.
Our models project Machado to post a .278 batting average, with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored over 20 plate appearances remaining this season.
