Indians' Bradley Zimmer (hand) likely done for season

Cleveland Indians outfielder Bradley Zimmer is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a broken hand.

What It Means:

Zimmer's left hand was stepped on during Sunday's victory over the Baltimore Orioles and it sounds like he won't play again because of it. Greg Allen was Zimmer's replacement on Sunday, and he and Austin Jackson both figure to see more playing time down the stretch following the injury.

If Zimmer's season is over, he will finish with a .241/.307/.385 slash, 8 home runs, 39 RBI, 41 runs scored, and 18 steals across 332 plate appearances (101 games) in 2017.
