Austin Hedges absent from San Diego's lineup versus Arizona
San Diego Padres catcher Austin Hedges is not starting on Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
What It Means:
Hedges will be available off the Padres' bench after three consecutive starts behind the plate for San Diego. Luis Torrens will catch right-hander Luis Perdomo and bat eighth versus Diamondbacks southpaw Robbie Ray on Sunday afternoon.
