Bradley Zimmer (concussion) remains out for Indians on Tuesday

Cleveland Indians outfielder Bradley Zimmer (concussion) remains out on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox.

What It Means:

Zimmer is in the MLB's concussion protocol after making an early exit on Saturday following a play in the outfield. This will be his third straight absence, but there's some hope the 24-year-old will be back on Wednesday. Greg Allen, Austin Jackson, and Brandon Guyer will man the Indians' outfield for tonight's matchup with left-hander David Holmberg and the White Sox.

Over 96 games this season, Zimmer is slashing .247/.311/.394 with 8 home runs, 39 RBI, 40 runs scored, and 17 steals across 318 plate appearances (PA). If he does return Wednesday, numberFire's models project him to record a .245 batting average down the stretch in 55 remaining PA.
