Danny Salazar (elbow) to return from DL, start on Tuesday for Indians
Cleveland Indians pitcher Danny Salazar will come off the disabled list in order to start Tuesday night's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Salazar has been on the disabled list since August 21st while dealing with some inflammation in his right elbow. He didn't require a rehab start but did go through a 23-pitch simulated game on Saturday. Manager Terry Francona said that it went well but that they wouldn't push Salazar too far into Tuesday's game.
With a projection of 34.4 FanDuel points, our models have Salazar pegged as the second-best option on tonight's slate. But that's accounting for an outing longer than 6 1/3 innings, which is unlikely with the likelihood of a pitch or innings limit in his return from an elbow issue.
