Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon is starting on Monday against the Detroit Tigers.
Gordon will bat ninth versus right-hander Artie Lewicki and the Tigers on Monday afternoon. His last hit came on August 25, a span in which he's gone 0-for-14. Paulo Orlando will be available off the Royals' bench after starting on Sunday.
With a promising implied total (4.82 runs) in a relatively batter-friendly matchup (9.0 over/under, 0.987 park factor), the Royals' lineup offers some fantasy appeal on Monday. numberFire's models project Gordon to score 7.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,000.
