Reds' Brayan Pena exits with apparent hamstring injury
Cincinnati Reds catcher Brayan Pena left Wednesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates with an apparent hamstring injury.
Pena is hitting .282 with a .303 wOBA, but he's struggled to generate any power on the season, he hasn't hit any home runs on the year and has a .052 ISO. He ranks only 257th among hitters with a -0.27 nERD. Despite these weak numbers, the Reds will hope Pena can get healthy soon, as he has leads Cincinatti catchers in wOBA on the year.
