Astros' Carlos Correa (thumb) on track for Friday
Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa is on track to be activated from the disabled list on Friday.
MLB.com's Mark Feinsand reports that Correa will play back-to-back games at Single-A Fresno on Tuesday and Wednesday. Assuming he's given the go-ahead after the next three days, we could see Correa return on Friday against the New York Mets. Marwin Gonzalez and Alex Bregman will likely see fewer starts as a result.
numberFire's models project Correa for 2 home runs, 6 RBI and a .303 average upon a healthy return to the lineup.
