Miami Marlins infielder Mike Aviles is out of the lineup on Monday as the Marlins travel to take on the Washington Nationals.
Aviles will get a routine day off while Miguel Rojas spells him at shortstop and bats eighth against Nationals' ace Max Scherzer.
Aviles is slashing .275/.339/.373 with a .307 wOBA through 20 big league games in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .188 and add 2 runs and 1 RBI in 17 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
