Jedd Gyorko (hamstring) hits the 10-day disabled list

St. Louis Cardinals infielder Jedd Gyorko has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right hamstring injury.

What It Means:

Gyorko injured his leg in Saturday's game against the Rays. The injury was diagnosed as a mild hamstring strain. According to MLB.com's Jenifer Langosch the injury is not expected to end Gyorko's season. Greg Garcia will replace Gyorko in the lineup on Sunday against Rays' righty Chris Archer.

Our models predict Gyorko to post a .267 batting average with 1 home run, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored over 17 plate appearances remaining this season.
