Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli is absent from the team's starting lineup against the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday.
In his return from a wrist injury last night, Cervelli exited the game early as he pulled up lame while running the bases. He's been diagnosed with a quad injury and is day-to-day with the severity of the injury unknown at this time. In his place, Chris Stewart will get the start in Cincinnati.
When healthy, numberFire's models expect Cervelli to contribute 1 home run, 3 doubles and 7 RBI the rest of the year.
