Dixon Machado moved up to two-hole for Tigers
Detroit Tigers infielder Dixon Machado is batting second on Saturday as his team takes on the Chicago White Sox.
Machado, a late addition to the lineup last night, will again spot Nick Castellanos at third, this time hitting second in the Tigers' order opposite lefty Carlos Rodon.
Despite his cheap $2,300 price tag and elevated position in the order, Machado probably isn't the best bet against Rodon. He's hitting just .167 with 7 strikeouts and 0 extra-base hits against southpaws in 2017.
