Rangers activate Carlos Gomez (shoulder) for Saturday start
Texas Rangers outfielder Carlos Gomez has been activated from the team's 10-day disabled list and is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Oaland Athletics.
Having spent the minimum number of days on the DL while dealing with a cyst on his right shoulder, Gomez is back and hitting fifth against Sean Manaea. Phil Gosselin was optioned to Triple-A as Nomar Mazara was sent back to the bench for Saturday's matchup with the Athletics' left-hander.
Gomez has hit .257 with 2 home runs in 82 plate appearances against lefty hurlers. Today, we project him for 10.3 points at $3,200 at FanDuel.
