Starlin Castro

Yankees' Starlin Castro (hamstring) returns to action on Friday

The New York Yankees have activated second baseman Starlin Castro from the 10-day disabled list and have him in the lineup Friday night.

What It Means:

Castro has missed over a month with a hamstring strain but is ready to return to the Yankees, just in time for the home stretch. Ronald Torreyes will head to the bench while Tyler Wade has been optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

The Yankees have the fifth-highest implied run total of the night (5.26) making Castro a high-ceiling play in his first game back from the DL on Friday. He costs just $2,700 versus the Seattle Mariners.
