Cameron Maybin starting for Angels against Texas
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Cameron Maybin is starting on Wednesday against the Texas Rangers.
Ben Revere is day-to-day with a knee contusion, so Maybin will draw the start in left field and lead off the Angels' order versus right-hander Andrew Cashner and the Rangers. He went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a strikeout after replacing Revere on Tuesday.
Cashner owns a forgiving 12.2 strikeout percentage this season and the Angels have a solid implied total (4.92 runs) on Wednesday, so their lineup is worth looking into from a fantasy perspective. numberFire's models project Maybin to score 11.2 FanDuel points at an affordable cost of $2,400, making him an excellent value play.
