Philadelphia Phillies infielder Andres Blanco is not in Wednesday's lineup versus the Miami Marlins.
Blanco will head back to the bench after going 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs and 4 total RBI on Tuesday night. It was an encouraging performance for someone who is just 20-for-115 (.174) overall this season. He's not worth owning in any format. Maikel Franco will start at third base and bat sixth versus Marlins southpaw Justin Nicolino.
numberFire's models project Blanco to turn in a .235 batting average in 38 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
