Ezequiel Carrera out of the Blue Jays' lineup Tuesday
Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Ezequiel Carrera is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's road clash with the Tampa Bay Rays.
It's a routine day off for Carrera, and he'll be spelled in the outfield by Steve Pearce, while Norichika Aoki takes over leadoff duties.
Carrera is slashing .291/.363/.439 with a .348 wOBA through 99 games in 2017. numberFire's models project him to bat .264 and add 11 runs and 7 RBI in 81 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
