Albert Almora on Cubs' bench on Tuesday night
Chicago Cubs outfielder Albert Almora is not starting on Tuesday against the Cincinnati Reds.
What It Means:
Jon Jay will start in center field and bat leadoff versus Reds right-hander Homer Bailey while Jason Heyward draws the start in right and hits out of the seven-hole. Almora went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI in Sunday's series finale, bringing his overall slash on the year to .292/.340/.412 in 99 games.
