Reds activate outfielder Billy Hamilton from disabled list

The Cincinnati Reds have activated outfielder Billy Hamilton from the 15-day disabled list.

What It Means:

Hamilton was hurt back on August 18th with a sprained capsule in his right shoulder.

Hamilton's hitting has been quite simply abominable this season, posting a .226/.272/.290 slash on the season. He has helped make up for it, though, with his efficient and high-volume base stealing. Hamilton has converted 88.5 percent of his attempts in to steals for a total of 54, two short of his total from last season. If he can supplant Jason Bourgeois in the leadoff spot, he immediately becomes an option in daily fantasy again with his stolen-base upside.
